Description

Description
Hydroxypropyltrimethyl Ammonium Chloride Chitosan (HACC) is a highly functional quaternary ammonium chitosan derivative with a 90% substitution degree. By introducing stable quaternary ammonium groups into the chitosan backbone, HACC achieves excellent water solubility, strong cationic activity, and enhanced antibacterial performance across a wide pH range. These improvements make it more versatile than traditional chitosan, especially where stability and antimicrobial efficacy are essential. HACC is widely applied in biomedicine, cosmetics, water treatment, and textile finishing for its antimicrobial and biocompatible properties.
