Description

Liquid Applied Waterproofing Membrane for Roof, Concrete & Industrial Applications

High-Elastic Liquid Waterproofing Membrane Coating is an advanced, high-performance waterproofing solution designed for demanding structural and industrial applications. Formulated with premium petroleum asphalt and enhanced with water-based polymer modifiers, this liquid membrane delivers outstanding flexibility, excellent tensile strength, and exceptional weather resistance.

Engineered for self-healing and long-term durability, it accommodates structural movement and prevents leaks even under extreme temperature fluctuations. With easy cold application (brush, roller, or spray), it ensures seamless, joint-free waterproofing coverage, significantly reducing labor and maintenance costs.

Ideal for large-scale projects and critical waterproofing scenarios, this coating effectively replaces traditional SBS/PVC membranes and outperforms conventional polyurethane or cement-based coatings.

Key Features:

1) Superior Adhesion

Strong bonding performance even on damp or irregular substrates, forming a continuous, monolithic waterproof layer.

2) High Elasticity & Flexibility

Exceptional elongation capacity to absorb substrate cracking and dynamic movement, maintaining waterproof integrity over time.

3) Self-Healing Capability

Automatically closes micro-cracks or minor punctures, preventing hidden leaks and extending service life.

4) Thermal and UV Resistance

Stable in both high and low temperatures; excellent aging resistance and protection against UV degradation.

5) Easy Application & Maintenance

Supports multiple methods (trowel, roller, spray), simplifying construction in confined or complex areas and minimizing future maintenance requirements.

Technical Specifications:

Appearance: Black viscous liquid

pH: 8–10

Viscosity: 100–200 mPa·s

Solid content: 50±1%

VOC: ≤5%

Recommended working temperature range: 0°C to 100°C (32°F to 212°F).

For applications requiring lower temperature resistance, such as -10°C (14°F) or -25°C (-13°F), customized formulations are available upon request. Please contact us for tailored solutions.

Application Areas:

  • Roofs (new construction and renovations)
  • Concrete slabs and decks
  • Underground garages and basements
  • Bathrooms, kitchens, wet rooms
  • Water tanks, pools, reservoirs
  • Tunnels, subways, sewage treatment facilities
  • SBS-modified asphalt roof repairs

Advantages Over Traditional Membranes:

  • Replaces SBS/PVC sheets for roof waterproofing
  • Stronger adhesion and flexibility than polyurethane coatings in indoor application
  • No torching or heat required, safer and more environmentally friendly
  • Superior aging and chemical resistance in harsh environments

Application Guidelines:

1) Surface Preparation:

Ensure the substrate is clean, flat, solid, and free from oil or dust. Fill holes or cracks; for highly porous surfaces (e.g., cement mortar), pre-treat with a primer or interface agent.

2) Coating Application:

Apply evenly in 2–3 coats using roller, brush, or spray, in crosshatch patterns. Allow each layer to cure before the next.

3) Reinforced Areas:

Critical zones (corners, drains, pipe penetrations) require 3 coats, with optional polyester fabric reinforcement between the 2nd and 3rd layers.

Precautions:

Do not apply below 10°C or when rain is expected within 6 hours.

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area at 0–40°C. Shelf life: 12 months.

Use opened containers promptly; seal tightly if not fully used. Do not reuse cured material.

Note on Packaging and Purchase

This product is primarily intended for bulk buyers, such as distributors, construction contractors, and OEM customers, due to transportation cost and application requirements.

While we provide a 1 kg sample pack for testing and formulation development, we do not recommend this product for individual consumers or small-scale DIY use. The small packaging is only to support material evaluation before large-volume orders.
