Description
MarkNature Refined Sodium Humate is the sodium salt of humic acid, extracted from natural oxidized lignite. It appears as shiny brown crystalline flakes with a pH of 10–11 and is fully water-soluble. With humic acid content ≥70% (dry basis), this product is widely applied as a feed additive and industrial binder.
Feed Grade Applications: In animal nutrition, sodium humate protects intestinal mucosa by forming a film over mucosal cells, helping reduce toxin absorption from feed residues or infections. It binds heavy metals and harmful metabolites, stabilizes gut flora, promotes nutrient absorption, supports growth, and enhances immune response in poultry, swine, cattle, and aquaculture.
Industrial Applications: Sodium humate is used as a wastewater treatment aid for removing heavy metals, oils, and suspended solids. It also functions as a coagulant aid with polymeric flocculants, and as a fluid loss additive in drilling and containment applications.
